As someone who is always on the search for a great travel bag, I was so excited to get my hands on some of Shay Mitchell’s travel bag collection, BEIS.
My first purchase from BEIS was their Weekender bag. Let me tell you, this did not disappoint! Although price wise it may seem a little expensive at first, when you think about the quality and what you want from a bag, this price isn’t too steep.
Let’s start off with practicality.
How practical is this bag? I definitely believe when it comes to bag it is all about personal choice and what works for you and your needs. For me, this bag had it all. Easy access, protection where it is needed and separate compartments for items. As well as that, the design of this bag makes it super easy to get it around. Shay definitely answered all my prayers when she designed this bag.
Features:
Magic Zip at the back – Why is this a magic zip? First of all, you can undo it and slide the bag over your suitcase handles. How many times have you carefully balanced your bag on top of your suitcase because you don’t want to carry it? As a result of this, it falls off multiple times as you’re dragging your way to your hotel! Secondly, if you’re not wanting to place it on top of a suitcase, you can zip the bottom of it up so you have an extra pocket!
Inside pocket with extra padding – It’s rare I go anywhere without a laptop or a tablet. So the pocket inside with extra padding is great for keeping those valuable items safe.
Inside pockets with zipping – Keep the little things where you can find them!
Wide Opening – Trying to squash clothes etc. into a bag is always difficult. The great thing about this bag is that it has a wide opening. This also keeps the bag stood up as well whilst you are packing. Just remember the two sides do still need to shut because you want to be able to zip up the bag.
Separate bottom section – Yes Please! I hate having to put my shoes in with my clothes, therefore the bottom section of the Weekender bag is great because you can undo it and fit your shoes inside. It’s beyond perfect, and probably one of my favourite features of this bag.
