Sangria
Transport yourself to Spain this summer with this delicious Sangria recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 1 Orange
- 1 Lemon
- 1 750ml Spanish Wine e.g. Garnacha or Tempranillo
- 4 tbsp Brandy (I like to use Cognac)
- 2 tbsp Orange Juice
- Sparkling Water (optional)
Instructions
- Dice your two apples into chunks.
- Peel the orange and dice into chunks.
- Juice the Lemon.
- Place the apples, orange and lemon juice into a large pitcher.
- Add the wine, brandy and orange juice and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. The drink can last for up to 2 days in the fridge.
- Before serving, stir again and pour over a glass of ice. You can top up your drink with the sparkling water if you wish, this is optional, depending on your preference.
