Dubai & Abu Dhabi

Spectacular Dubai

Dubai was beautiful and the weather was lovely.  Here there are many sights to see including the tallest building in the world.

Firstly, some things to remember when visiting…

Do your research on the laws of this country, something I would recommend for any place you visit.   This will ensure you don’t get in trouble or offend those that live there.  Always be mindful to respect others beliefs and culture.

The tallest building in the world

My favourite experience in Dubai was going up the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.  Just the elevator to get you to the 124th floor was mind-blowing as it travels at 10metres per second which was a little scary to think about but when you were in it it wasn’t bad at all!  The views once you reach the top were amazing to be able to look out and see many of the wonderful sites words just cannot explain. This is something I would definitely recommend doing if you go there!  Even from the ground just looking up at the magnificent building was a sight to see you can’t help but be awe-struck from this truly magnificent site.

At the Burj Khalifa is also where you can find Dubai Mall, where there are so many designer shops, there is a brilliant waterfall inside which you just have to see. They also have a section which is called ‘The Village’ through here the ceiling is filled with colourful umbrellas which look lovely and a great place to stop for a photo!

The hotel I stayed in was the Palm Atlantis which was lovely.  There is so much fun to be had in the waterpark and the hotel itself was brilliant!

Abu Dhabi

Whilst I was out there I did also have a quick visit to Abu Dhabi.  The Grand Mosque was magnificent along with the Emirates Palace and Ferrari World.  When I was there a lot of places were still under construction though.  For both Abu Dhabi and Dubai I look forward to re-visiting in the future to see how they have progressed.
